i believe i own the only one gibson custom shop ever built. natural w/factory bigsby.
george gruhn is fond of the saying - "Gibson has done everything at least once." I think this is a testament to that.
Neat piece; what year?
I bet Paul Gilbert would buy it from you. In all seriousness, though, that's an awesome guit, there. My grandmother-in-law has one I'll hopefully wind up with someday.
Too cool! How's it sound?
best sounding guitar i own.
That is one very cool guitar, Brez. I have two ES-330's myself. And the color is also unique, normally they are either cherry or walnut, but I don't think I've every seen a blonde ES-330. Although ES-335's are common. Is it a hollowbody, or semi-hollow? Just curious.
fully hollow but no real f-holes. they are painted on but have a glassy effect which adds to the real look. they did make blonde es-330's in the 50.- 60's but very few. this guitar was made in the gibson custom shop very recently. i'm told it is a 1of. the build quality is better than a 1962 i own. the neck is nice and fat. it's a beaut!
Your screwed if you have to change the electronics though?
that's way cool looking!... better hope you never need to change out the pots, switch or jack.
and it looks like you got a leftover "Clapton 335" case from 2005.
That is really pretty. I bet it sounds fab with those p-90s and a nice resonant body. You can probably feel it sing when you turn it up. NICE!!!
