I believe it's a true bypass with on/off indicator. If all else fails, it'll match my EVH flanger and phaser

Could not agree more...... Dunlop should focus on their WAY HUGE resurrection, and less on this kinda junk...

    Any other signature stuff :)

:jothat kills me,Eddie isnt even known for a wah?? hell ,on the albums that matter, the ones we ALL KNOW there isnt 1 bloody wah sound on any of them.....seriously the wah trend is bonkers, all these people started off with one of the 3 or 4 that was available back in the day!!! they all had the same wah on the albums now they have a signature wah......

    Yeah,
I can understand the Flanger and Phaser since they were integral parts of his sound, but Wah?

In concert its more pronounced, than the records. Live he uses the rack or a 535.. so this is REALLY lame.

I tried it at NAMM... just because it has Eddie's name on it doesn't mean it's going to sound good or bad. I found it really usable... try it before you pass judgement... some of you might like it.

Agreed. I mean who doesnt love a usable wah, but EVH putting his name on a wah is like Albert Lee releasing a signature Ring mod.

I hear you on the EVH thing.

You can always take it home if you like it and spray paint the entire thing black!! Just close your eyes when your first try it. Haha!

Most u folks be Rotherans then????

I used to play in a VH tribute band and needed the wah consistently, EVH uses it very discerningly in colaboration with his creamy neck PU sound. And very often.
It often goes unnoticed because he combines it with trem swoops which mask the subtlety of how he uses the wah.

Here's a 5150 sim demo using a BOSS Vwah and womaniser to illustrate:

    From 2:36 onwards.

    Description:
Everyone who is anyone knows that Eddie VanHalen is known for his signature wah sound! We here at Dunlap feel that the time is RIGHT for a release of major impact on the heavy music world: The EVH Wah-Wah.
Now you too can own one of these tastelessly-painted gems and sound just like (F*U*C*K-era) Eddie! Sure it may sound brilliant, but what is sound compared to the signature endorsement of a Major Superstar like Eddie VanHalen? Just face it: the band is never going to get back together, and if it did would Eddie remember? So wear your mullett, and get one today! Available at your local Wal-Mart, Korvettes, Sears and Office Depot.

    hmm..
maybe Ed is doing the tour thing one last time to get his name out there again for something other than his personal life. after the tour he hangs it up and concentrates on making money off of EVH gear. :D
