Explain me pleez the Carol-Ann voicings.

    There are three OD2 voicings, right? Texas, Standard, and Mayhem (or something like that)? Are the amps labelled as such somewhere, or do you have to guess?

    I don't think the voicing is different, just the gain structure.

    Texas - lower gain
    Standard - regular gain
    High Gain - high gain !

    I have the standard gain, which is what Alan likes. Plenty of range from cleaner to very high gain. To get a real soaring strat lead the first volume is on about 2:00 and the lead volume is on 2:00. With a humbucker those can be a bit lower.

    I also like pedals sometimes to boost which work great. On the Texas version you need to crank the amp much more to get it into the zone, so that one does require pedals more.

    I'm very happy with the stock voicing.
