Hey guys I was wondering if anyone successfully added an external tap jack to their M5 and what their procedure was?

I haven't done so but I'm aware that the M5 is midi compatible. I'm tempted at some point to look into a global tap via midi. Therefore, further bump for whether this would work...

I've drilled one in. All you need to do is wire a plastic 1/4" jack to the lugs on the bottom of the PCB below the tap footswitch.

how did you get at the footswitch pcb? looks like you would either have to:
    1) take the whole pedal apart
    or
    2) disconnect the ribbon cable that connects what i will call "the big board" to the smaller board with the pots etc.

Option 2 seems like it should be easier, but the ribbon cable on mine is pretty tacked down with hot glue and didnt come off with light prying

i will get some pics when i get home

it's snapped in place, too. it takes a little coaxing, but keep working and it'll come off. i did the external tap by wiring the tap leads to the expression pedal in, which worked fine as a tap out for me

When I tried to open up mine it looks as if I would need to bend the case to take the bottom off...

The top sheet of metal should slide a little bit to one side and then come off easily.
