what do you guys have for processor and memory specs on the machines you use with this?

I'm trying to figure if I could use this on one of my lesser machines...

Funny that you ask. I have an older PC but one that exceeds the minimum specs and I'm having trouble with it. I have a 1.7ghz Pentium4 processor and 1 GB of RAM. With Cubase, my soundcard control panel, and EZ drummer open I freeze up and get screeching noises for a few seconds whenever I try to do something. If I close the soundcard window it seems to improve. Granted this could be serious user error as I don't know the program yet but just clicking and dragging a pattern into Cubase seemed to overwhelm my machine. Installed Reaper and will try it soon as I understand it uses less system resources than some other programs.

3.3 GHz Pentium 4 with 2 GB of RAM. I run EZ Drummer in ProTools and have never had as much as a hiccup. Great program and for that price, it's an even better value!

I'm sure they must have a 30 day price-match type thing. YOu should ask them.

I just got back from GC, I had printed the sales price from MF, $99 and they happily matched it and said they'd have done the same if I had already bought it. I also had a $25 gift card GC sent for the labor day sale that I applied towards it as well. I can't wait to give it a try tonight.:D

Actually, I saw it in the latest GC flyer that came in the mail yesterday and Sweetwater dropped their price this morning.

I want an iMac...especially because I want and like to use garageband.

Would anyone say this EZDrummer is comparable in regards to ease of use?
I have Cubasis on my computer currently at home...

Tons of bang for the buck already in this program. It makes mocking up drums super easy.

Can't go wrong with EZD, its add-ons or the new Superior 2.0. I use them all via MIDI with my v-drums and will never go back to the Roland module sounds ever again.

Just ordered it!! Cannot wait! What a HUGE deal! I am more of a blues and soul guy so i hope there are some usable sounds, patterns etc. If not I also dig rock and what not so I know i will have fun with it.

Thanks for the heads-up. I bought a copy from Music123 about 30 days ago for $149.99 - 15%. Just shot them the Sweetwater link, as they have a 45-day price match guarantee. Hopefully I will get another $27.50 credit on my account. By the way... I've found that Music123 is the best about shipping even heavy stuff for free. Can't wait for my Super Champ XD to head this way (on backorder until 9/5).

    Later!
