    Yahoooooo !!

Boy did he gun the start... And controlled the race from there. Got to feel for poor Nico though... Would have loved a good fight between them, but full credit to NR for shaking off his engineers request and staying out till the end...

Congrats to Hammy. A well deserved win, and a well deserved 2nd world title. Lewis has ensured he will be remembered as one of the all time greats! Too bad for Nico, but Hamilton has had more than his share of reliability issues this year. I guess that's just how it goes.

    Hmmm...

IMHO poor Nick is a cheat...not a word I would use lightly but his performance at Monaco was disgraceful...never mind the shunting later on...

Hamilton is a bit of an arse too, but I would be quite content not seeing rosberg ever win the championship...

From some of his drives this season, I can't say Lewis didn't deserve the title. 3 DNFs, that amazing fight in Bahrain, starting 9th and finishing 2nd in Austria, winning from 6th at Silverstone, starting 16th in Germany and finishing 3rd, starting from the last row and finishing 3rd in Hungary, getting taken out by Nico at Spa, making up the ground after his slide in Brazil...Lewis had to go full-Alonso on many occasions. Can't really say Nico had those kind of drives this year. Either he finished where he started, finished 1 or 2 places higher, or slid back considerably. There were a couple of races where he kicked it into high gear and made up a lot of time at the end of a race, but no races where he had to pass half the field or more. Congrats to Lewis!

Hopefully we don't see these 3 car team shenanigans next year. Glad to see Williams double podium today and Massa drive the way he did.

So glad to see Hamilton become a two-time world champion. Hopefully next year he can notch another world title to match his hero Senna.

Great start and job well done, Champ!!

Nice to see Nico congratulate him after the race....and I was actually hoping Massa would pass Lewis at the end for the win!!

Great championship win by Lewis...very glad to see it work out this way. Rosberg experienced the karmic consequences of his shenanigans at Monaco and Spa.

Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton on his second world championship.

Pity it worked out as it did as it would have been good to see them go to the end. But it is what it is.

Great drive by Massa. Would have been awesome if he could have taken the win, but again, it is what it is.

    Congrats.

With that said - if I have to suffer through another year of Mercedes domination next year, I might just take a year off from the sport. I love domination but this was just boring. Thank god Niki Lauda and Toto Wolff at least let them race.

Yep, would have been fitting to see Nico & Lewis scrap it out. REALLY glad to see Williams back to form.

Always amazed at that venue .... drips money!

So I assume you stopped watching the last 4 years of red bull domination that was far more boring than this year with the slight exception of 2012? I hope Lewis wins another 10 championships and if that means Mercedes domination I'm all for it.

    The better Mercedes driver won.
The best driver in the field quit Ferrari.
The Aussie is a definite future World Champ.

Looking forward to 2015 season, hope McLaren-Honda give Alonso a good car.

It would appear so, but it depends a lot on what he's driving.
