It's like a Salvador Dali nose!
It looks to me like he was giving it too much gas trying to push under a crash barrier and got its nose all bent out of shape.
He is still in an induced coma, with no plans to bring him out of it. Also, the longer he is in it, the smaller his chance of recovery. It's quite possible that he will remain in this state as long as he lives, unfortunately.
F14 T Ferrari rules...all your formulae 1 are belong to me
Force India has come out with a properly pretty car!
Here's a link to the BBC's real time coverage of todays 2014 seasons first trials in Spain with photos of the new Red Bull and Mercedes.

The Caterham nose is awful, as are the ones with the bulbous man part. It's really a shame because from the front wheels back the cars look nice with the big exhaust pipe out the back.
Yeah, couple of Edsels in there, although I don't mind the Merc. & Maclaren. Interesting the wide range of design differences, from the hugely long front decks (Sauber, Caterim, Force India) to a fairly quick drop off (Toro Rosso). Adrain Newey's take on the 2014 nose designs (unsafe)
Should be an interesting season
Tough few days for the Renault runners!
Sorry, can you expand??
BTW, interesting technical explanation/comparison of the 2014 changes here.
I think they all look pretty good but it seems many of the engineers are concerned -
Bright note - Jensen Button was fastest yesterday in testing ! 1:32 in damp conditions
The Renault-engined teams struggled with a suspected energy store issue. Caterham's Ericsson managed the most laps with 11, but his best was nearly 14 seconds slower than Button. Red Bull gave up running altogether after Sebastian Vettel had managed a handful of laps early on, while Toro Rosso failed to make it out at all.
So Boullier is going to be new McLaren racing director. I guess Lotus might be having major problems this season. And Ron Dennis is back because this major staff overhaul is his doing.
Ron is back because he won the power struggle that has been going on ever since Alonso grassed them out on the industrial espionage case which cost them the £60million fine a few years back. For whatever reason he doesn't like Martin Whitmarsh and has unofficially sacked him. They say he will be offered another position within the group but let's see eh!!. It is also rumoured that Martin will go to Lotus to replace Boullier. A position above Boullier is also being kept for Ross Brawn who they wanted now but he wants a holiday before taking it up.
That's quite an interesting development. if Ross is going to skip that season I wonder who's going to be the head honcho for the 2014 season in McLaren.
Report from Schumacher's Doctors is they are reducing the drugs that are inducing the coma and plan to bring him slowly out of the coma.
I apologize if this has been answered, I didn't go through the entire thread. What's the best way to watch the races live if you're in the States? Just streaming online somewhere?
NBC Sports Channel
Another day with Red Bull only doing a few laps....yikes.
