Yep it is...I e-mailed the seller just to get a phone number. He replied with a out of country in Canada at a funeral e-mail. Who the hell takes a $50,000 to a funeral out of country? Lol.

I told him he was a lousy scammer and he never replied back.

Judging by the background of the picture, the guitar is located in a music store....???

Anything is possible.... nah, it's a stolen image from the net.

If it seems too good to be true, posted on several cities across the US, on Craigslist, its probably too good to be true. And yes, the first thing I noticed was the music store background. What a jackass.

Hmm... Wonder how many times he's "sold" that same guitar.

This is one reason why I'm leery of posting photos of my gear on the web and I'd never post serial numbers.

I own a honeyburst LP Classic and a blonde/rosewood HWY1. I play them through a Marshall DSL. Don't need to post photos. You all know exactly what they look like.

That being said, I do feel somewhat selfish for this as I really enjoy it when other people post photos of their gear! Does this make me a bad person? [IMG]

I post all mine....I really am not concerned with what other people do with my pics. Anyone running a scam is going to throw red flags in so many other ways, whether they have pics or not is irrelevant.

    -Wont do a phone call
    -Wont give you their address
    -Wont do paypal
-Wont send additional pics (I actually say this alot cause I don't have a camera..so not a total giveaway)
-Can't answer questions about the guitar that cannot be told from the pics

If you fall for some dude just cause he has good pics and knows the serial number...darwin...
