"Fake" (painted on) pickguard

    There was a picture posted here of a guitar with a "fake" pickguard that was painted on (or the wood was stained, I'm not sure). Anyone remember that thread and can link to it?

    Taku Sakashta does something like this but I cannot seem to locate his website.

    The Godin Passion RG-3 comes in different woods and neck woods, but each one has an inlayed line that gives the illusion of a pickguard, even though there is none.
