Hey guys, been saving my pennies for a Fargen for awhile and I'm nearly there :)
I've got a quote from Ben for a combo with an M75 Scumback, which would be great as a grab and go combo.
The problem is I only have experience with closed back cabs, and don't know how the open back combo will affect the tone. I love the sound of Greenback type speakers but again I've not heard them in an open back cab.
I play a Les Paul with PAF type pickups and play mostly heavy blues and rock, think Zep, Sabbath, Pearl Jam, GnR etc. No pedals.
Anyone care to chime in with opinions, experiences or alternatives. Should I just get a head and stick with closed backed cabs? I'd rather go with a combo but am a bit worried about the unknown aspect of the open back design.
    Cheers, Matt.

Edit: I meant Mini Plex, stupid iPad.
