Thinking hard about this amp as a combo. Any comments on the combo as grab & go: portability, volume at small rehearsal, cut through the mix?

If I may glom on to this thread...is there enough clean headroom to play with a drummer/band?

I have an MKI combo and it smokes in a live setting. I've not had problems with clean headroom. It not only cuts through great, but I'll often have it mic'd as well. Considering how many compliments I get on mine, I can only imagine how great the new one sounds. You'd be surprised how much volume is on tap with 12 class A watts with some EL-34's. I plan on getting mine upgraded. That'll be a great day.
