This documents the build of a very special instrument. I'm on his mailing list and just received this today. As soon as I saw it I thought there would be a lot of interest here. Here's a link if you'd like to watch it on his site.

It's always a pleasure watching master craftsmen at work. What a stunning guitar, with a rich history! Thanks for sharing!

Great idea, Anthony...done!

Am I the only one who got a little misty eyed watching these guys do their thing to that beautiful soundtrack?
LOL! I had to go hug my acoustic after watching that.

I've only played one Petros guitar, but it was one of the three best acoustic guitars I've ever played (the other two being a Olson and an all mahogany Martin). The Petros had more low end than any other acoustic I've ever experienced. It was unreal. If I could afford one, I would buy one without hesitation.

When I met Bruce a few years back the conversation I had with him changed the way I think about acoustic guitars. What a brilliant design that sounds fantastic. Great video of a very gifted luthier!~

If anyone is interested in Bruce's work, I'd suggest visiting his site and signing up for the mailing list. I receive maybe an email per month and they always have interesting things in them...especially nice to know when they're doing shop concerts!

Very nice. $26,000? Wow.
26k for work of the like doesn't suprise me a bit. Nevermind that it's a musical instrument. Woodworking like that is a rare art and very costly.
Now that kind artful woodworking AND it's a guitar= 26K no problem. And it's great that a craftsman is getting due pay for awesome work.
Peace. J.J.B.
