A lady at work picked up lunch from Taco John's (I know) and didn't get any Potato Ole's, which is, imo, their best tasting menu item.......why not get the item that EVERYONE likes?.......i.e. who would go to McDonalds and NOT get fries???

Maybe she's trying to cut down on carbs?

Looks like Potato Oles are just little hash browns sprinkled with taco seasoning, which sounds delicious no doubt.

Maybe she couldn't help herself and ate them all on the way back?

    She was overwhelmed.

A - Her judgement was impaired by chemtrails.
B - She was too busy contemplating vinegar on salad
C - She was trying to decide if she wanted Kobe's career
D - She was doing the math to see when her car would touch the car next to hers
E - She was trying to decide if Michael Strahan was appealing
F - She wanted to know why she had a rosewood fretboard on her Jazzmaster.

Oh pleeze. A contemplation of dryer sheets was certainly involved.

If that's their best tasting item, I'm kind of amazed.

You got me twice. I would only walk into McDonald's if I were truly out of other options and I wouldn't order the fries. More proof that you and I are very different.

Never been to Taco John's. The franchise hasn't made it to my area.

Close. I'm in Detroit. According to Google, there is only one Taco Johns in Michigan and it's in Stevensville (the other side of the state).

That's odd.....MANY people think that McDonalds has the best fries in the fast food business.....

So I've heard. I actually prefer a thicker fry (like Wendy's), but I don't normally order french fries anywhere. I don't really like fatty foods much and if I'm find myself in a fast food joint I typically do a sandwich and no fries. So it's not the McDonald's fries, it's me.

    Peace,

Maybe she doesn't eat deep fried food. I know it may seem strange, but aside from an occasional handful of taqueria chips, I stopped eating fried food altogether. Actually, about two weeks ago I had a craving for a good old burger & fries. Went to a place called Caliber. After going so long without grease, it made me feel sick to the point of having to lie down for a couple of hours.

Deep fried food is really terrible for you. Just sayin'.
