He didn't talk me into any pedals. But for a while there last year he had me in some pretty heavy credit card debt!:AOK

    Fatback rules!:dude

BTW I am now out of pedal debt in case anyone was concerned.:)

He's my hero, but he's not on youtube, he's on Yahoo Videos. I want a white Jazzmaster real bad because of him.

I recently purchased the Catalinbread V8 fuzz partly because of him and partly because of proguitarshop.com They are very useful tools. However, I haven't purchased anything that I wasn't already interested in before seeing the videos.

& they both sounded sooo different in my rig.
One pedal in particular is amazing with him & sucked unbelivably for me.
In a sea of badly done demo vids, his are some of the few that I think are well done

He plays well, I just can't tell what it really sounds like with the camera mic. Someone needs to donate a nice recording setup for him to use. Someone besides me, that is.

One of his 'secrets' is he puts everthing through a Valveboy. Not really a secret, since is mentions it from time to time, but I would guess that is the main reason for the difference.
    Get a Valveboy.....problem solved!

I'm proud to call John a good friend. I hope he dosn't mind me saying he
works hard supporting himself. He has more jobs than a Jamaican.

I love that he DOES NOT talk through the pedal demos.

I've probably watched them all, and come to like the videos that are not demos, but are songs, more. (Theme from Sanford and Son, anybody?) F* pedals, it is songs that make the world go 'round!

Anyway, I really like that you can see the settings, and he does not talk, and wears clothes, shoes, etc. (But that's just me.)

I almost bought a Jacques Prisoner based on his vid.

I also play a Princeton, so that helps.

Fatback is captivating to listen to. Each repeat listen is just as captivating.

Those vids really hammer home that it's more the player than the pedal.

No matter what OD, dist or fuzz he plays, and through whatever guitar he plays it through, he still sounds like him and I really can't tell the difference in the specific pedal.

Yeah, Fatback is cool. Just a regular dude with mad skillz who obviously has fun playing. And I think his sound quality is fine - it gets the point across.

The same here. Plus, you need to try this great pedal. It's not crazy unless you want it to be. A great stand alone multi-use fuzz. Thank you Fatback:AOK. I never would have bought it without the clip. His clips are on Google, by the way.

I watched his Lunar Module video about a hundred times, I'm sure it had something to do with me getting one.
