The RSA 23 is my favorite. Granted, I've only played the FTR, the RSA 23 and 31, the ERT 33, and the 10/20.

I like them all, but if I could only have one, it would be the RSA 31 which for me is better than a vintage vox, tighter, more aggressive, and slightly more modern sounding in a good way. It has great cleans, and killer crunch, and heavier distortion. Second place is the RSA 23.

I've heard they are good, but no dealers near me.

I have yet to be impressed by the two I've tried out.

My favorite for my style is the CJ11, but the truth be told, I haven't played a /13 model that didn't blow me away.

From amp to amp it's the best line I've heard.

Jrt 9/15-I've had 6 of Fred's amps, and have really liked all but the 37-For some reason, just could get the tones I liked out of it....:munch

I have to vote for the only one I have, the 10/20.

SJT37 - It's not on your list. EL34s - not that many out there.

you also forgot to list the ERT33

How loud does the RSA 31 have to be to get silghtly dirty? How about crunch? My JRT is just about the right volume for me but I long for a touch more headroom and more vox-like mids.

I've been considering the RSA 31 Small Box Head with Master Volume that Fred now offers. I'd run it into my /13 2X12F Cab.

It starts breaking up at around 3 and really starts to crunch at 5 +/- 1 depending on the pickups, the totally clean headroom is probably not enough to play with a drummer, but definitely way better than the 9/15. The crunch is quite loud. I borrowed a 9/15 for a few days, and the RSA 31 is in a different league for me. The master volume sounds interesting but I would be scared to change anything on the RSA 31.

Is this the regular channel or the click channel?

I would also have to vote for a non listed divided amp... mjl37 is my number one... well, It's a mjl with my initials and a click channel.

    Only played the FTR37, RSA31, and RSA23...

    All are fantastic!

The one that fits my style most would be the RSA31.

Although, I'm very intruiged by the other models like the JRT, LDW, and EDT...

So, not sure if I can even vote on that yet...

I've only tried 2 of them so far, JRT and a RSA23.

    Both kicked ass bigtime.

regular ch. ,click channel breaks up sooner and is even more aggressive. The difference isn't as great between the 2 channels as an FTR37.

Having owned an EDT & FTR (both of which I miss dearly) along with my TBL 200, I have to say that the TBL is my favorite. It is hands down the most toneful and useful bass amp I have ever played. Guitar sounds pretty dang great through it as well when paired with the right cabinet/speaker(s). I don't think I will ever part with the TBL.
