What's your favorite "harmonic" dual guitar team or song? What dual lead solo guitarists do you like, and what songs do you like that incorporates dual guitar harmonies?

Personally my favorite duos are Matt and Corey from Trivium, and Robb Flynn and Phill Demmel from Machine Head. Songs I like are Hotel California by the Eagles (might be a bit cheesy but I love the solo), Aesthetics of Hate and Halo by Machine Head, and Anthem (We are the fire) by Trivium.

Now this is just my opinion, and I would like to discover more good dual guitar groups. So tell me, who's your favorite? :)

Given the stuff you named...you have to check out Judas Priest. I would say Screaming For Vengeance is a good place to start. Great album. Glenn Tipton & K.K. Downing are a great team.

Check out the title track.

Probably my favorite dual guitar song is The Cowboy Song by Thin Lizzy. This is from the Jailbreak album which is a great dual guitar album all the way. (I keep saying album....Damn I'm old) This is in my opinion the best Thin Lizzy line-up...Scott Gorham & Brian Robertson on guitar.

Check it out too.

bsteff666 beat me to a couple, great minds think alike:) KK and Glenn are incredible and Thin Lizzy really made that dual harmony guitar theme popular, Scott Gorham is criminally underated. Another incredible team was Dave Murry and Adrian Smith. They are more of the playing off one another licks as opposed to alot of harmony, though they do that too. Number of the Beast and Piece Of Mind are epic !!

+ 1 on Thin Lizzy. All of their guitar players were/are great, and they all played well together. I am particular fond of Sykes and Gorham together. And, Gary Moore and Snowy White.

A bit pop--um, a LOT pop. The harmony guitars of 'You're still the One' by Orleans. Very melodic, and harmonic. more 6ths than 3rds.

I figured the Allman Brothers would be king here.

Duane and Dicky
Dicky and Warren
Warren and Derek

All three combos absolutely and completely smoked!!!

Jessica
Liz Reed....etc....you all know the list! It goes on and on!
