Mine is a quote from part of Zach Galifianakis' stand-up. I personally think it's hilarious, but I have a very odd sense of humor.

he is hilarious. Odd sense of humor makes this world turn. Your quote is amazing.

my favorite is the guy that says something along the lines (please correct me).
"I sold my dumble for $1500....so what" (thats got to be wrong ha)

Mine reminds me of what's important, as sometimes I start to drool a little TOO much when checking out TGP!

ha elaborate this one is amazing!

Heh heh - Nothing too exciting here... I used to play in several bands starting back in the early 80's. Finished up regular gigging about 15 years ago when I started my own business and got married etc.

A couple of years ago though, my young son, who is now 10, started up playing guitar after seeing all my gear. He started gigging in a band with other kids slightly older than him, doing cover songs in shows and events around town.

I'm trying hard not to 'push' him too hard, but heck, I am so enjoying reliving my past vicariously through him.

It does mean that I have my work cut out in lugging all his gear, amps and guitars to and from gigs, as well as setting up etc. and being the general band 'repair guy'. :) Love it! :D

EDIT: Link with pics of one of his gigs: http://devan.posterous.com/seabreeze-festival-gig
First pic is of him yelling at me (roadie) for something I didn't set up right for him... :)

(PS: His band is in a 'lull' at the moment until they find another drummer)

Mine used to be a Zappa quote but it had a negative religious connotation so I got censored. I had a good Jimmy Page one "I may not believe in myself, but I believe in what I'm doing." My current one is good because it reminds me of my 7th grade choice to stop watching TV for the whole year, except for Saturday Night Live and Monty Python.

Mine is pretty much the best ever. I like to quote unsuspecting people here when they say funny things, but the current quote may just be the best short exchange I've seen here in my entire time on the site.

As a kid I used to go to this arcade that almost always was completely deserted. The attract modes on the games were set really loud. Even half way down the street I could still hear: "The Force will be with you.....always....."

Mine was something Daryl Johnston said about the Cowboys last season and I liked the twist on the old standby because it's true for so many situations.

I really like this one, I think it's Danocaster's:

Louder isn't better. It's just louder (and better).
