Great choices and taste in music.
It’s live for a one person audience of Shia LaBeouf.
Glad to see some love for PJ Harvey. Favorite female artist, way better than St. Vincent.
Never really got into Nick Cave, but this is pretty awesome, thanks!
I know some people who are die hard fans, but he is kinda hit or miss for me. I like a some of the Bad Seeds stuff with Blixa Bargeld from Einstürzende Neubauten (like the track above). I saw him live around the time Let Love In came out & enjoyed most of that album.
'By-Tor And The Snow Dog' on Rush's All The World's A Stage album. Alex Lifeson's guitar sounds like an overdriven Hammond organ.
Humble Pies Filmore version of I Don't Need No Doctor
Loved that one too! Wasn't til much later that I realized that great Bass groove was obvious ode to Grand Funk's "Footstompi' Music".....
Ahh. Drop the needle anywhere on this one.....
Uli was playing like no one else with that wang-bar! Scorpions records never matched their live sound in those early years....Eddie was listening, trust me....
Bowie playing Heroes to the home crowd in Berlin. Gives me goosebumps.
Where is my mind - Placebo with Black Francis in Paris. Fantsatic vibe and IMO so much better than the album versions (Pixies or Placebo)
And then, these guys do it a little better!
How could I forget these?
Yes, this is way better than the studio version, holy crap!
Both are great in their own ways, can’t choose which one’s my fave, though.
I've watched this dozens of times. Major talent. And thoroughly charming.
