I enjoy Norah with The Little Willies, and really like "Dear John" and "Miriam". The dark subject of the two songs is great.

What is your favorite Norah Jones CD or recording?

The first one and the most recent one. The debut seemed to set the pattern for her next few albums, the most recent one is a surprising change of direction and jump forward.

I'm actually really liking her latest! "Little Broken Hearts." She took the plunge into some new ground while discovering new vocal territory.

The version of "Sweet Dreams" she did on one of Jim Campilongo's albums is superb.

The first one and the Little Willies. The rest seem a bit sweet for me. Haven't paid much attention to the latest one though

My favorite is probably "Feels like home".
I'm a big fan and have a great respect for the way she is leading her carrer but, I don't think she will ever have a band so good like The Handsome Band.
Unfortunatelly I never saw that band live.

She sang vocals on a record by The Peter Malick Group.

The record title is New York City.

Best thing she's done. It was before her solo debut. Tasty guitar work throughout with Norah singing.

Everybody here should check it out.

I really liked the first album, I love the Little Willies stuff, and I also quite like the new record -- her hookiest and catchiest original material. But I have to say, while I love her approach to music and I adore her voice, I haven't loved most of her original songs. That's why I like the first album best, I think it's the Norah Jones album with the best material because she just pulled the best material she could get her hands on together. She's she's been recording all original material I've liked her records less and less until the most recent one, which I thought was the best collection of original material she's pulled together.

As mentioned, New York City is really great---but its kinda short.

Feels Like Home and Little Broken Hearts are both tremendous.

I have such a hard time choosing... I so often reference her to young(er) guys I play with when first getting together as a way to perform to the song. She just nails it every single time.

"You Humble Me" from her second record. For some reason that song just kills me.

Come Away With Me is quite possibly the best record of the 21st century (so far) IMO.
