Dunlop Tortex, .73, .88 and 1.14.

Thinner picks have more edge in the sound. You can hear the strings bite into them and shred them apart. Sometimes I want that sound, sometimes I don’t so I use a thicker pick.

Clayton Acetal rounded triangle 0.63 mm, for 25 years, but lately I’m switching to Ultem rounded triangles.

I play 99% fingerstyle, tho.

PickBoy Jazz III style heavy is my current favorite for bass. Great attack and comfy. You can choke up on them to get a little bit of your finger/thumb to hit the string (technique used by Chris Squire).

I personally don't seek out picks to simulate a finger-style attack, as that's not what I'm looking for when I play with a pick. I'll just play finger-style when that's the tone that's called for.
