    hey guys.

Just wondering what pickup config you best like in a strat style guitar (may it be Suhr, Grosh, Melancon, Tyler, Anderson, Fender, DePergo etc..)

I dont really know how to post a poll so I will list em! (its pretty obvious :crazy)

    *neck-mid-bridge*

    S/S/S
    S/S/H
    S/H/H
    H/H/H
    H/S/H
    H/S/S
    H/H

Anyway, there is prolly more choices than those...so post what you like!

My fav is the Hum in the bridge then single single (no pickgaurd :p)

If you want you can post the pickups you prefer in whatever order! Just curious after all :dude

    I'm old school, I guess...

S/S/S... Gotta have the quack in the position 2 and 4 settings and a nice neck tone... It's really what a Strat is all about, IMO...

    "Trad" (sort of):
    single / single / Tele

    Chess meets Blue Note:
    P90 / P90 / P90,

    5 way: vol, tone, blend.

That's it for me after 30 years of doinking around with that stuff. (though I can still avoid practicing by playing with cap values.)

I find that the anything with a H in a Strat deteriorates the quack sounds.

My fave is S/H/H. I had a Suhr built that way. Traditional Strat neck pickup sounds and everhything from fatquack to heavier rock with the 2 humbuckers in the bridge and middle.
