Favorite Tricks with the DL4

    very informative thread...thanks...

    this from a DL4 dummy who has 3 settings and that's about all i use it for live...

    i need to carve out time for this stuff....

    Yes it does. But you can extend the looptime to 28 seconds by pressing the '½ SPEED'-button before you hit record at the first time.

    I've never owned a DL-4 but I saw a guitarist on Saturday who was making great use of one. He was changing presets within bars for some really out-there chopped-up sounding parts.

    If you watch Bill Frisell play the Strawberry Fields Forever coda (5:45) you can hear him layer on parts at backwards half-speed, and then kick it in for the sound of the outro. Very cool.
