    Ah. In my book, those are all things that rarely coexist alongside interesting songs/good bands, as most labels with the money for production, oomph, and dazzle don't spend it on bands that are interesting (non-cookie cutter sounds)/write good (non-cookie cutter) songs. But, as hcole noted, at least most of the bands you mentioned do get played on KEXP. -E

    Sorry my man, I really dont think you get my meaning.

    When I say oomph and dazzle, I am referring to the quality of the music that KEXP plays, which is a constant stream of lackluster, drowsy bands who really could use some of the oomph and dazzle I refer to. I think of KEXP as emo elevator music at the end of my dial, with the chance of hearing a great song or two, if I am lucky, and sadly this is as good as it gets for radio in Seattle.
