I notice in pictures of these guitars that on the bass side of the humbucker there are two adjustment screws on that side? What's going on there? If you replace the pickup, do you need to replace the pickguard with one that has the normal one-screw-per-side arrangement?

    Thanks in advance!

I am pretty sure that it adjusts the angle... not FOR SURE so I hope someone else chimes in that knows but I think that is what those screws are for.

humbuckers in pickguards have a tendency to want to tilt. The second screw helps keep it in place and allows you to adjust for angle. The pickguard will need to be replaced for one on a side.

Or just drill a small hole in between the two holes

I've drilled the small hole before and it really isn't noticeable....by anyone but you, and it's free and fast.
