Fender 63 Vibroverb

i got me one of these:

for cheap. it was one of those once in a great while craigslist grabs.

sadly, i had to sell my blues jr, but i havent noticed because im too busy loving this thing.

simple, plug and play. sounds great. plenty loud, the vibrato (tremolo, but you know that) is amazing, the reverb is great (its darker, i like it more than the traditional blackface reverb) and it loves pedals. not too heavy either.

the stock speakers sound great too. they are oxfords, i think they might even be recreations of the original speaker. not sure. might throw in some different tens, but im happy for now.

anyone else have/play one of these?

and the tilt back legs? i dunno what the deal is but i love em. so handy.

heres a couple pics from a solo show i played using the vibroverb. just a little reverb, some subtle trem, and it was better than playing acoustic!

She's a beauty for sure. Dig the Tele too...great combo. Almost as good as this.

I can't see how you miss a Blues Jr. when it was replaced with that! Maybe if you replaced it with a Gorilla but NOT a Vibroverb.

hah the blues jr is such a great amp. i loved the reverb on it.

i think the vibroverb and blues jr would make a fantastic pairing.

I love the '63 vibroverb. I missed out once on a great deal and now i feel like I can't ever find them these days. Such a great little amp, congrats.

yeah ive never seen one for sale around here before, and i didnt even buy it in the sf bay area. i was in southern california when i saw in CL. it was in temecula.

I have one of the reissued ones from the late 80's early 90's?? I have Matchless 10's in it. It's a great amp.
