    He did not like the amp you love . I had a 57 Bandmaster that I enjoyed . My guitar mentor did not like it at all.
    I did not worry about it.

    Yes, people are confusing the ML with the Deville with a gain channel.

    That's why I made a distinction between "special" and "sterile" he got it.... He might be a tweed guy, he might be something else... his opinion is as meaningful as anyone else's. Sounds like he's in the know about Fenders... I should pick his brain about Pro Reverbs and Supers... I'm thinking of picking one up.

    Second who in their right mind doesn't like a 57 Bandmaster! what the.....? :D

    Well in fainess
    He thought it sounded a little thin , not terrible but missing something. When I tested it out I liked it .
    I test em out with Love Reign O'er Me. .. perfect .. Me being a big Who fan ,it was right in my wheel house .
