NAMM is the end of this week, so I'm sure that we'll know more by then!
I'm excited! I played one of the '68 modified Deluxe Reverbs, and LOVED it! I'm sure that the Vibrolux will be phenomenal, too!

This is the first I've seen of a 68 Custom Vibrolux Reverb model. This will be the top selling model of this series if the price is not too high.

Pretty cool. I wonder if it's just a Custom Vibrolux Reverb in silverface drip-edge clothing, or if it is its own thing.

Besides the speaker change, the circuit changes can be done on existing models for less than $5 in parts and one to two hours of easy work (of which 80% of the work is dissembling and reassembling the amp).

Thank God it's not the custom vibrolux reverb! It's another model in the new Custom 68 amp series.

I'm definitely considering getting one. I wonder if they will eventually roll out a super reverb. Now that is one I would be all over. Run that btch in stereo with the vibrolux :)

Cool, I was hoping they would come out with a vibrolux. I might have to start saving up for one.

Vibrolux should be 35 watts in a 2x10 cab. Awesome concept and good to see. Curious to see what speakers they will spec. These new silverface reissues still have particle board or MDF cabs?

perfect! i know my BLDX the sides are birch and the rest is MDF and partial board. I have not heard anyone yet comment on the new 68 ones yet

How many years have we all been pondering a VR RI? Guess they're saving the best for last. It should be a GREAT seller. If I didn't have a Rivera Concert with 2 - 10's already, I'd be pulling out the credit cards. Wonder what speakers? Don't matter, people will be swapping them anyway.

This is good news.

Did you watch the video? It's not a reissue. None of the '68s are.

The custom princeton and deluxe's I've seen online look like new old stock reissue circuit boards modified for the lower NFL and differing tonestack on the normal channel (of the deluxe). I'm sure they would/could do the same thing with the old 65 twin reverb reissue boards. I'm trying to imagine what they'd be doing for the vibrolux reissue... hopefully a new board design and not the old custom vibrolux boards.

Good question. I hope the new 68 CVR has a new circuit board and nothing to do with the CVR, but it may have the same circuit board that is modified.
