can anyone tell me the depth of the soft v on the new fender 58' heavy relic teles?

Have you tried Fender's website? I can't seem to locate my slide rule.

they only mention that the profile is a soft v. no measurements of the depth. i should just take a caliper into guitar center. i wonder if they'd let me do it...

Generally at the first fret they run from about .875" to .900 and get to around .930 or so at the 12th.

Mine is .883 at the first fret.

I played a few of these at NAMM, very close to a boat neck, but a little less meaty.

I thought they were the perfect size

not the most technical answer, but if you want a nice V neck thats not to meaty, this is the ticket

yeah, really great dimensions. i think they got it right on these...

the ones at NAMM were not bare

but I've seen pics of others there were bare, and really dirty lookin
