Is there anyway to send the signal to the FOH pa system and still use the internal speaker as a stage monitor? Looks like you have to use the headphones out as the direct out and that turns off the speaker.

Thanks

Yes, just run cable from the effects send to your mixer. The effects send is after the cabinet modeling and effects blocks, so it will work well going into FOH. Also, it's a 1/4" jack instead of 1/8" jack, so it will work much better in the long run.

THanks. It seems strange to have the effects loop AFTER the cab modeling. Seems to me it should come before the power amp modeling just like on a tube amp. Wonder how this would affect the sound of anything I put in the loop.....

You're right, but that's the way they did it. It comes straight from the horses mouth on the Fender website forums.

The fx loop on a tube amp is between pre- and power amp because you can't put it anywhere else. When you record the fx are mostly added from the board = after cab and mic

Is the sound the same running direct from the effects out and headphones out?
The headphones have a stereo output, the effects loop is mono. For recording you'd want to use the headphone out(obviously).
