Just came home with a ProSonic, gotta say what rocking amp!
It did not come with the footswtich. My single throw Marshall-liek switches don't work with it. Should it? Maybe something is messed up or do I need a different cord, switch, etc?
I am looking into mods as well. I think it smokes. Little frizzly, so some good preamp tubes changes will help it, but I like it. It is the 2-10, might try and find a headcab for it. Will stock Showman style headcabs work or have to go custom made?
    Thanks

    Scott -

I had one of the first 25 off the line from when the Fender "Custom" Amp Shop was down the street from here in the old Sunn building.....seafoam green lizard skin :p 2x10 combo as well.
Cool amp that I ended up selling (probably foolishly....) Try turning the volume waaaaay up and setting the tone controld at zero - then dialing in little bits of the tone. It will be silent until you bring upthe tone levels and really sounds best operated like that....

    Have fun !

I had an early Red one and it was awesome(why did i sell it?) it was a head and it rocked through a 4x12" great high gain and crunch tones. I would like to check out a combo. the tone contols are best all the way down as said before and work them up to taste. cool over looked amp.

Interesting tip. My supersonic operates the same way tone control wise. I'll have to try dialing it in that way.

OP- Im running Mullard long plates(V1 and V3) in my SS OD channel with excellent results. Ive read the amps are loosely similar in the dirty channel set up.The Mullard keeps the fizz to a minimum while imparting a serious growl to the OD. bob
