Fender Quad Reverb Question

So the Fender Quad Reverb has 2 channels normal/vibrato and 2 inputs on each.

What are the consequences of using 2 inputs on the same channel? Seems like a volume decrease...

What about using 1 input in each channel?

it's the same as a Twin and most other old fenders.

You can't jumper the channels like on a 4-input Marshall as the channels are out of phase. You can swap between them using an A-B pedal if you like.

Two inputs on the same channel just makes them both like No2. No advantage to it at all. Just pick the one you like and go with it. The two inputs connect together anyways after a few resisters.
Both channels on the old reverb Fenders is out of phase. There ways to get them in phase but it's not like you pick up much gain or whatever running two channels anyway. Some people like it though.

These are good comments so far. What are you trying to accomplish? Maybe we can give you an option you haven't considered.
