MAN! I should not have plugged into this amp!

Let's get this out of the way....yes....it's REALLY expensive. BUT WOW what a sound....and with the attenuator and speaker cut it's really not that loud when it starts to purr. Hit it with an OD and it would be great!

I always prefer the sound of big amps but also generally sell them off because I can't make use of them. In fact I just bought a SF Princeton for this very reason.

But....

For the first time in a LONG time I played an amp that gives me IMMEDIATE gas and makes me think of actually financing a new amp (GASP!).

Am i crazy? This amp was REALLY good sounding.

have you ever tried the 'regular' '57twin? i am curious how the attenautor and going to one speaker impacts the 'base tone...ive been trying to justify one myself

No. If the tone was the same I'd be all over it. You can find these used and I'd just add an attenuator...

This amp intrigues me as well, so far I heard nothing but positive feedbacks on the amp except for the price. I would love to try one in person.

I liked the EC vibrato champ, but two of them I owned broke down on me... so I'm not sure about the quality, maybe I was out of luck? Hopefully its bigger brothers are better made.

That amp blew me away...One of the best amps I've tried...

That was my feeling. I used to work at a store with great amps and have owned at least 20 different boutique amps...this one was special. I want to get it out and see if the attenuator works in the real world as well as I imagine it will.
