Who would be interested in a Brown Deluxe if Fender reissued them?

    Not for what they'd charge.

I'd buy that if the price was right, but real ones aren't that outrageously priced (like BFDRs)...yet. How about a Brown Vibroverb (2 X 10, natch) with a tube rectifier this time. I'd definitely buy that...

I'd like one, please. But, could we get someone else to build it? ;)

I would like to see Fender build one. Fender Brown/Blonde era amps are kind of forgotten, but they are really cool amps. One brown era reissue is not enough. So yes, I would like to see a Brown Deluxe Reissue.

I couldn't wait, so I built my own.

Why wouldn't you just buy an old one? Fender would probably charge more than the old Deluxes are worth to do a hand wired one... and, the tone would probably suck.

I would like to see one, but not for what Fender would want to charge for it. Search hard enough and you will find good vintage specimen and maybe a few good repros!

Check out Li'l Dawg Amps Chocodawg. I had Jim build me a brown Princeton (Chocoprince) that is nothing short of amazing. Love the tremolo.

MissionAmps makes a kit called the "volume/tone mod" that will basically make any tweed Deluxe clone close to a brownface in sound/spec. I love mine.
