Hey guys; I usually just sort of lurk around here and check out all the stuff you guys post; amazing stuff really! Everyone is so good!

So I've sort of decided to ditch playing through Line6 units, and AxeFX direct recorded stuff and just mic my amp; 1 Lonely Senheiser E906 into a Presonus Firestudio Project, recorded with Final cut and logic. Wooo. Anyways, my room isn't terribly great, I'll take any feedback I can get hahaha. The guitar is a Malmsteen Strat, one of the newer ones with the SD Furies in it. Oh yeah, the amp is a Marshall JVM 410H into a 4x12 1960 vintage cab.

Anyways, lemme know what your thoughts are, thanks!

Hey man! Thanks for the listen/view, and extra thanks for the embed! I swear I read through how to embed a youtube link, but for some reason it just doesn't work!

I had a Malmsteen that I saved all my graduation money for... I said when I was a freshman that was my 'dream' guitar. It didn't work out for me as the Dimarzio PU's sounded real weak and hummed on 2 and 4 and I could never get the action right. I traded for an Ernie Ball which made more sense at the time.

However, the 'new' ones with the 70's neck and the new Fury PU's catch me eye every time I see one.

I want one- just to look at :-( ( and maybe play some Yngwie)

I've played a few Malmsteen Strats. Maybe I've been lucky but they were all awesome.

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I'm still kinda getting my act together playing-wise hahaha
yeah, the JVM kicks major ass, I love that thing. The Malmsteen guitars, well... initially kind of a let down. When I got my first one I was not so happy with the low gain pickups, but now I'm addicted (I really like the Furies! woo!) and YJM strats are pretty much all I can play!

Okay, I gotta go check out some clips here, now...
