I biult this one last fall - it's really nice. It's a MIJ '57 reissue Strat body in alder shot in Fiesta Red. I had a mint green 8 hole pickguard made by Warmoth. It sports Van Zandt True Vintage pickups a RS "super" volume pot and a CTS master tone pot with .047 PIO cap. The pickguard and all cavities are shielded - it's very quiet. The neck is a highly figured Warmoth "Pro" with a Pau Ferro board and 6100 frets that have been leveled, crowned and dressed. A bone nut and Kluson tuners complete the package. Bridge is a Wilkinson vintage with steel block and I bent the arm to be more like a Callaham "64". All in all it's a great looking, great playing and a great sounding axe AND it's for sale.

    Here's mine.

Been in the family a long time. My father purchased it in October 1962 (its dated April 1962 and a slab board). He kept it pristine for a whole two months until he let Keith Richards borrow it for a Stones gig and after their set Keith promptly threw in on the stage!

Some years later it became mine and it comes out from time to time. Still sounds amazing.

I don't think that's what Ludwig called it though.

"Whitey" and the "Redheaded Stepchild." Both are CS '69 Heavy Relics so they sport the HUGE headstocks as well.

I love my Strat...none of the shots show the true color. Always a bit too bright...but I like this one:

That wasn't very nice of Keith to throw a borrowed guitar onto the stage. Glad it's okay and that you still have it. :)
