    Ha!
Here you go Dipa! I can't stop playing this thing and was messing around with my Tele.
This is a tone you will NEVER hear me dial in, but it was a blast! So bright in the room it would rip your head right off! I was gritting my teeth to fend off the Tele twang in the room!
So cool but still you hear Dumble written all over it. I LOVE this amp!!!

I have been like that for close to two years now, I feel your pain. Let's hope this virus is gotten under control soon or we will all be locked inside with plenty of playing time.
    Getting scary here in NJ.

Yes, put that up! A blast to play on!!

right on - my kind of funk ! :dude
vaguely similar to Food Loose in fact, but that would be bananas, of course ! :p

great tone, quite a departure from the typical Dumble vibe !

Here are the settings for that Tele clip. The Tele has an anemic bridge pup and it was wide open. Still no harshness in the top end!
    :beer

Love the cables with the 90 degree bends. That side will not even go into the tele!

Interesting that it was on the Jazz setting.

Yea. See I scooped the mids out a bit too. I think that's a very under used feature on Dumbles. I have gotten some fantastic overdriven tones with that, although I do use rock mode most times. Killer lower gain/edge of break up tones are all over the place in that mode!!

I think I've used the Jazz setting (it's called EQ1 on my amp) only once or twice with my amp.

I never used it on any of my TwoRocks either.
It's much more usable on the Dumbles, Quinns and Cobra. That's what blew me away about 183 too. SOO many incredible tones!!!! More than all my clones combined!!

Tag, I'm curious. Have you ever tried the Matt Schofield thing setting up the amp? And how close is that to what you get when trying to dial in RF tones?

I do not know what the Matt Scofield thing is!
To do the Robben Ford thing with the Quinns and Cobra, just set the amp to the same settings Ford uses and put a digital verb in the loop! Done! Instant Ford tones!

You mean turn the pots (without playing) until you hear a change?

    Eg. the Kimock method?

Matt plays while turning the knobs but a similar thing. Finding the area where the sound really changes and finding the mid point of that. I've found that this works really well as a starting point for most amps if you want that open blooming sound. Doesn't work as well on my Milkman where all the tone pots are super linear. But most amps will have a definite point before which not much happens and after which there's less change. My old Fuchs (now departed) would definitely do this. As did the /13 JRT I had which had a super simple tone circuit. But there was still That Point on it.

I've never tried it, but have always wanted to see what it would yield with my amps.

For those wondering, here is Matt Schofield explaining it:

Lou spent a lot of time with pots and tracking them. Entire JIGS set up with every single pot, trying, tracking and measuring each one. I believe he is using different pots in different places to get as close to the Dumbles as possible. The Dumble used very specific pots. Lou has that covered, as well as every single other part from input to output jack. Everything was gone over hundreds of times. The amp sounds as good as any Dumble you will find.
