I have been fighting this for a while, but I'm glad to say that I finally bought one from Pedalgeek, and it should be hear tomorrow. Hey Rich, (Fast Ricky Love) I went off of your advise. I also just picked up a Tweed Blues Deville Reissue 410, and it has a superb clean channel with bite. Can anybody explain how the EQ knob works? I am very excited.

Hey Rich can you give me the lowdown on this Compressor? What does it add to your sound? And how does the EQ knob really work, and why is it soooo special?

it's a tilt. counterclockwise increases the bass response while cutting the highs. clockwise is vice versa.

great pedal. loads of range for pickups of different output etc.

make sure to try the little high cut filter jumper in both positions to see which you like better.

i found things a little too bright until i moved the jumper into the high cut position. i find it a bit less noisy now and i still get the sparkle out of it.

overall i'm very happy with it. especially with the usable range of the comp control.

I'll get mine tomorrow, I had Pedalgeek send it overnight. I hate waiting on pedals to come in, so I always get them to overnight it. One thing about my new Fender amp is, the main clean channel is sooo freakin awesome and bluesy, it has that SRV - Tin Pan Alley sound. Then when you crank the volume a bit more it starts to break up a little. I'm so blown away with this amp, and my Antelop Morning Dew EQ add another demention of control to this amp.. So I'm hoping that the Diamond Comp adds just that subtle compression to that clean blues sound that I might need. Also this amp loves my TIM, and TIMMY.

Be careful now or you won`t be able to put that axe down for some sleep, some meals and a walk to the loo.
With that rig I presume you`ve already stopped working. :)

Well so far it kills every compressor I've tried.. I love the tone of this one, and your right the EQ knob is brilliant. It is very nice with Fender Amps.

I really dig Diamond's stuff. I bit the bullet and ordered a Memory Lane today. ALMOST went with custom color stuff, but I decided silver will do, if I can get the pedal sooner. :)

I am a wah and chorus mod away from having only the Klon and BS-2 as buffers on my board. I can't wait... if I can get things sounding as pristine as they do when I just run 2 pedals or so... it's going to be a dream.

Diamond comp is on the list... I hate the list! The list is EVIL!

Well, the wah mod's cheap & simple enough, if all you're planning to do is replace the stock switch w/a DP/DT. Haven't used chorus myself for over 25 years, but the modulation effects on the Diamond delay are gorgeous. Didn't expect I'd be using them as much as I am.. On slow arpeggiated chords, or to create ambient washes of sound. I hope you enjoy the MemoryLane as much as I have.

Guys I'm telling you, the Diamond Comp makes everything sound better running into a fender amp. I running Diamond Compressor, into the TIM, or TIMMY, and it freakin amazing. I am soo pleased with this pedal. Man!! Thank you Rich (Fast Ricky Love). The EQ, is amazing also, this is probably the best friend of the TIM, Or TIMMY..

Got mine in today, only got to play it for like 2 minutes cause I went to visit family and now it's too late to play as my neighbors are sleeping and I always have to crank my setup with new pedals. But I can already tell that it is like a true studio comp on the floor. It's also DAMN quiet, with the volume and comp all the way up the hiss is about half that of my keeley all the way up. Definitely gonna do some clips and review tomorrow, but I'll still probably sell it cause the Keeley just works so damn good for me.

What? I couldn't keep the Keeley. It just killed the high end too much. I even bought the new one because of the internal attack, but it really was the high end loss that was the deal breaker. Tomorrow try doing this setting, Comp at 9:00, EQ at 2:00, and volume at 12:00. And then mess with the EQ knob a bit, and you will hear how freakin good this pedal sounds.. Let us know what you think tomorow.
