I can't believe I waited this long to get this thing. My Mojo cab should be in this coming week - as should my Weber 50W Ceramic Silver Bells. :D Man - I'm stoked!

Funny you should mention that - I'm going to Austin tomorrow night to go see him. I'll post some videos when the Mojo cab and the Silver-Bells get here.... :D

Man - this set up is hard to beat IMHO... :D

I knew the HRDlx would be good for something - A temporary cab until the 2x12 closed back shows up... :AOK

E, can we turn this into a BF Super Reverb appreciation thread?:dude

It happens to be the amp I always wanted seriously. It was my first tube amp buying experience I'll never forget it. I was 15 or 16 years old was on vacation in Nashville and stopped in a pawnshop. They were selling books outside and I picked up a copy of Electric Gypsy for $1 or something like that. Anyway I had been wanting a super reverb for a long time and sure enough first shop I checked had one. Almost like it was meant to be it was an early '67 blackface but had been burned in a club fire so it was replaced with silverface cosmetics. I plugged an ESP strat into it and immediately fell in love. I paid $500 for it because they thought it was a '68 but the chassis and speaker codes told different. That particular super was punchy but the reverb/vibrato never worked. I missed that amp and the 68 I had. So Im rekindling that love of supers and got another '68 AB763 on the way. This will be super # 7. Lets hope its a keeper, I dont need another dud like the 1966!

Yeah I hijacked your thread so what big whoop wanna fight about it? :D

the best Super i ever had was a 72, of all things. Better than a 64, 65, or 66 i had.
