I just ordered a Strat neck from USACG and am looking for a good place to have it finished in nitro and slightly aged a bit to have a vintage appearance. The goal is to achieve a realistic early '60s look.

I'm not usually into the whole Relic thing, but seeing some of the work by GVCG and others have changed my mind . . . very nice work.

Who would you recommend that would just finish a neck only for an authentic result?

BTW, I did see "The Best Relics" thread, but I got the impression that these luthiers only did complete builds, and not individual parts.

I would consider calling Sean from Lovepedal. He might be able to give you some tips, his necks look really great ,IMO.

Call Tommy! He recommended me a paint shop that will do nitro and aging.

I forgot the name of the shop but just call Tommy.

I have tried contacting him several times in the past few weeks and have received no response at all.

Try Mario at Guitar Mill. I haven't seen his relic work but others have said it's very nice.

Naked Body Guitars looks good, too. Tons o' pics of her work and all of it looks great to me.
