Thanks, dude. I listened to it again and thought it was a mite busy and I missed the sweet spot of the speaker for the tone I was after. That, combined with no replies led me to believe that perhaps people thought this clip was terrible. Thank you for your comment. I will look forward to any clips that you post.

I liked it. At first it was busy but it settled in real nice. And I don't know what you mean about the tone. Sounded good to me. Course, it was playing through my computer speakers so I can't really tell that much.

    Rock on.

Thanks, Jimmy. I think if you hear it on a good pair of speakers it's gonna sound a bit "honky" Lotsa ugly mids got through.

    Hey Mike,

Glad to hear your take. I agree with Harry, busy playing goes with the territory. Half the fun is seeing what you can cram into the song and still get away with (don't tell anyone I said that).

I liked your clip. It gave me a fresh perspective on parts of the song. I tend to favor more cliché sounding stuff in my own playing (in a good way of course), but you went a little bit outside and beyond the pentatonic which is where I always chicken out. I liked that you did that.

I would have to agree with you on the sweet spot thing though.;)

Thanks- a great backing track. I thought your version kicked ass- I liked the pentatonic runs- this stuff begs for that approach. I'm gonna have to be a little more careful where I put the mike next time, I guess.
