1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

    Smokin! :dude:dude:dude

Nothing like a good "shoof" (that's what we called a shuffle back in high school in the late 60s).

Haha, that is a pretty clever arragnment. If you are serious about wanting to know the in's and outs of getting the song on your CD leagally, email me and I can give you some info. One of the projects I am in has a CD of kind of whaky takes on stuff from Coltrane, Miles and Hendrix/B.Miles. We have the CD done and sell it at gigs, but to sell it online(and now I just found out to even post as a stream from your website) we wanted to be legit. It has been a hassle with some, not so much with others. Buddy Miles orginization has been holding up the works for a long time. His lawyer has not been very co-operative. It's not super expensive as far as how much it cost per CD.

    Peace,
    Duffy
