    Hi Guys,

Just got Cubase Studio 4 for my Imac. Kind of a noob to this type of powerful product...I had Cubase LE before that, and I just used a template I found on the presonus site to setup the inputs/outputs on the firepod.
    Here's what I did:
In the VST Connections: disabled the stereo in's and added 8 mono inputs to Cubase.
Added left/right stereo outputs going to the firepod. I could have added 8 mono outs to the firepod, should I have? What is the advantage of this? I don't have a ton of outboard gear, just a lexicon mx-200.

Here's what I want to do:
Setup a template where I have the 8 firepod inputs on a separate track in Cubase, the most useful output setting, plus a midi track for my Axiom controller, and a midi channel (guessing here?) for EZdrummer so I can drag and drop (wasn't able to get this to work). Last time I had anything electronic for drums it was a DR.550... :messedup :dude

Any help, ideas, etc. would be most appreciated.

    Best, tom
