firestudio project on Macbook pro

    i am intending to do something vaguely epic...anywhoo anyone have any thoughts on a macbook pro/logic 8/firestudio project combo for home recording? does the firestudio hiss at all? i def need enough inputs for drums and such...

    presonus has unstable drivers for mac

    wait untill the end of march or mid april to buy one

    Presumably new drivers?

    I'll second the claim - those drivers were horrific; that unit lasted less than three days here.

    also, have you used Logic much? Definitely try-before-buy...

    I have a Presonus Firepod and my Mac worked fine with it but that might have been utilizing old drivers. Good luck though, the Firepod sounds unbelievably good with my Mac.
