    Wow.

I'll pull up the email info from my last repair and forward.

Here's what happened to my Artist. I tried out the channel 1's effects loop for the first time and then when I returned to not using the loop Channel 1 is now dead. So I now have a 1 channel Artist. This amp is strictly a home use amp. Yea, and what's with the tolex ripping so easily. Fishman should be brought up on charges using that for its covering. I'm not happy.

I have sung the praises of this amp time and again. It's a great sounding box. But these two issues have soured me big time. Is it worth sending it back to Fishman to have it repaired?. I'm certain that it's out of warranty. Would like to hear what you all have to say about getting it repaired. I've babied this amp-what gives?

Try cleaning the jacks for the efx loop. Spray some Deoxit II into each jack. If the jacks are dirty it will cause the channel to cut in/out.

You are the MAN! You nailed it. Sprayed the Deoxit. Problem fixed. I've got my amp back again. Thank you soooo much.

    I owe you a beer!

I'm glad it worked out. The efx return jack breaks the connection from the preamp to the power amp.

Anyone with music gear should keep a can of Deoxit handy at all times.

I once sent an amp in for warranty because the input jack wanted a shot of Deoxit:)
