I want to try one to get a Beatles-y style fuzz tone, but who makes the most flexible one? Probably John @ Basic Audio, right?

I still haven't tried an Analogman fuzz, maybe I should try the sunbender then go from there.

Steve Williams over at Pigdog makes a mean mkI or mk1.5.... Or if you want to save a bunch of money, contact Andreas at Bad Pixel pedals & ask if he'll build you a mk1. Bad Pixel makes the best fuzz face on the planet imo.

Pigdog is way out of price range, but I would like to try one one day. I'll talk to Andreas / Bad Pixel about an MKI or MKI.V... his enclosures look amazing.

I don't think a I.5 will do the Beatles thing all that well. Just about any other Tone Bender variant will do a better job. A Vox TB clone would probably get the job done in the most cost effective manner. Who is currently making good ones?

Not much talk here about the Ramble FX Twin Bender. You can pick between how many Ge you run through, has a bias knob, fat switch. I love this pedal.
