Flying (opinions please -I think...)

    Im ready for another dose of eating humble pie I guess. Heres a song I wrote and play all the parts except the Roland drums...Not the best recording but best I can do for now.First song listed called "Flying". I tried linking direct but it didnt work...sorry.....what do you think?

    The tones and feel kind of reminds me of Gary Hoeys early stuff I like it:AOK !

    You did something that I wish a lot of people would do: you established the groove firmly before you began your solo. The whole thing works better because the context has been setup.

    I liked the vibe of this tune - kinda' Satch in tone and composition.

    My advice would be to RELAX and record your part again - you sound a bit tense. Relax and go again - it will enhance the overall feel of the piece in a big way. I'm not sure how technically challenging you find the piece - it sounds like you are pushing yourself whereby I think the piece would be improved by the guitar part sounding like it is a breeze for you.
