1. During the first week of August 2020, we'll be upgrading the software TGP runs on to the currently available up-to-date version. The software version is a significant upgrade, so there will be some downtime as we do the work under the hood. We've got a team of professionals, including the software development company assisting the process. We've conducted substantial tests using backups of the current forum to ensure a smooth and successful upgrade. We've gone to great lengths on the design of the theme (aka 'skin' or look and feel) of the forum to offer a better user experience for members and visitors. The default theme will be new, yet clearly influenced by the classic TGP look. We will have a dark version of that also easily selectable. Also available will be a "Classic TGP" theme that closely matches the current theme you are accustomed to using with the current software. There is also an easy width adjustment to make it set width or expand to your window width for each theme. As we get closer, I'll update everyone so hopefully, no one will be caught by surprise.

    I’ve had this little mixer for years just lying around. Now, I can use it for headphones.

    I haven’t run into the bug again after several more hours of use since last post. I’ll be posting a demo soon.

    There is one factory preset that has been reported to crash the FM3. It will be fixed in a new version of the presets next week.

    FM3 -> audio interface -> headphones.

    are there any special settings you’d have to disable/enable?

    just curious about getting the headphone-less version and running into a Focusrite 2i2

    Just got my FM3 today and I am sold! Went head to head with a kemper stage and after picking a cab and adjusting a little of the amp output compression, adding a bit of drive in the cab block, I found an “in-between” tone that was amazing. The low and in-between have always been where i’ve struggled to get what I want (owned standard in 2007 and every product multiple time since) .especially when pushed with the fractal drive section..but the FM3 does it! The KOT drive pushed into a Princeton through a cab IR mix’s with an m160 is killin!

    Shouldn't be any different than running any other sound source into one of the inputs and monitoring with headphones.

    There are lots of options out there for listening to something like the FM3 through headphones. You could use an interface, a small mixer, or even a little $20 headphone amp like this one:

    My Blue MoFi headphones have a built in preamp that usually works well to allow me to just use an unamplified normal output direct to the headphones. I think there are other headphones out there with built in amplifiers

    I never paid tax on anything I bought off of Reverb. The tax has already been paid by the original purchaser.

    Must be part of that new internet tax law. Kind of bullsh*t since the tax has already been paid on it. Unless it is a seller that has a brand new product of course.

    I've had my FM3 for a month or so now. Absolutely love it. So good on every level. Sold my AF3. Tones are exactly the same and the FM3 works perfect for me

    I got mine this week, and it sounds fantastic. My last Fractal product was an AxeFX Standard, and this is huge leap forward.

    You haven't bought anything off reverb lately, then (or live in a state with no sales tax).
