During the pecan st festival I listened to a guy playing a tele thru a dr z.
He was a tall thin white dude, mad skills, nice to talk to.

His tele was blond with an alligator pickguard, control plate and pick ups were tooled chrome/steel, western floral motif.

I talked to the dude between sets, he let me play it and it was killer. I thought he said something about Larrivee and cherokee guitars. I thought the headstock said Cherokee custom or something. I was a bit tipsy and totally drunk by the end of the night. But I do remember something about artist relations or something.

It wasn't a Bakersfield, it didn't have body contours.

    Has anybody seen this guy/guitar?

I'd like to find out who made that thing.

    Kirk

I don't get out enough these days to know who that might be. Go to the Austin craigslist. There is a section on there for musicians. Post something there and see what you get.

"I was a bit tipsy, and totally drunk by the end of the nite"! And he let you play his guitar? There is a lesson in here somewhere.
