    It all started with a motive for a bending/vibrato exercise. But I couldn't turn it into something more than that in the past.

    I don't know why, but in the last weeks this motive has developed into a guitar instrumental song.
    The song has a 6/8 beat. And I guess some footprints of the Loner have found their way into it ...

    Creating a new song is always challenging to me - to fill this sheet of white paper with something musical ...

    I recorded the guitar with my beloved Marshall tube amp and a new piece of gear: the BluGuitar Blubox speaker simulation. The cab model is the stack 1970. Pretty decent live and recording gear IMO.

    I hope you like my new song - any feedback is greatly welcome [IMG]

    wolbai,
    That was really, really nice. Some great playing. Reminds me very much of the late, great Gary Moore.

    Peace be with you. Brian

    @BrianOlsen - Thanks for your ecouraging and motivating feedback - I appreciate a lot !

    Yes, GM is still my all time Guitar Master and inspirational source for music. I guess his tunes will echo through my veins until the final curtain falls.

    And virtual music still remains ...

    All the best - wolbai

    @HellsKitchenGtr - I appreciate your Feedback:aok

    The underlying chords are a bit more complex than an usual I-IV-V progression and spiced up a bit with some chords that are breaking out of the natural and harmonic B-Minor song scale and level chords.

    On Instrumentals I tend to play in some song parts close along the chords for a nice melody line to replicate a vocal part.

    Thanks again for the "Likes" and the motivating comments :aok

    It inspires me for a new cover song project: "So Into You" from ARS.

    Although they are a pretty underestimated Southern Rock Band (still touring), I like them a lot.
    I remember playing "Spooky" with my Band in the early 80s.
