which is the better bang for the buck?
or does a Squire blow them away?
I wouldn't even touch an agile or xaviere given the choice of a squier classic vibe tele.
A Squire CV Tele would probably be better (or at least not worse) though about $100 more expensive. But if you're talking Squier Affinity Series, those are c-r-a-p. Your poll doesn't make the distinction.
The CV's, Agiles and Xaviere's are probably all made in the same factories, anyway.
What are you hoping one may do that the others can't?
xaviere's have thin necks and will need alot of tweaking
Agiles are very nice, too much money for what they are
CV Tele is nice, finish will chip off wayyy too ez, Mine has a mini hum in neck and Tom anderson TV-3 in bridge, decents pots etc and a wilkerson bridge
Would rank them:
1. Squier Classic Vibe Tele
You can't go wrong with either of the first 2 choices. I wouldn't go for the Xaviere, as you get better value with either the CV or the Agile.
I have the CV Duosonic and have been very happy with it. I played the CV Tele a lot as I was comparing the two and thought it was great as well.
MF is doing a 15% off deal (using code Pricewar), which drops the CV Tele under $300. It's a great value at that price.
